We hosted our EOFY + Annual Awards Celebration at The Ternary, Novotel Sydney on 29 May, and the experience exceeded expectations.

The events team made the planning process easy from start to finish. They were responsive, transparent, and a pleasure to work with. They also made us feel valued through thoughtful touches, including a unique tasting experience before the event.

On the night, everything ran seamlessly. The food and service were excellent, and it was great to meet the Executive Chef, who took the time to introduce himself and check in throughout the evening. The venue was well staffed, and the technical team quickly resolved any issues that arose.

The event offered excellent value for money, with competitive pricing and outstanding delivery. In fact, it was our highest-rated event to date, with more than 95% of attendees rating the venue and food as excellent.

The biggest contributor to the event’s success was the Novotel’s events team. Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. We would gladly host another event at The Ternary and look forward to working with the team again.

The conference facilities were excellent with well-equipped meeting spaces and attentive staff who ensured every aspect of the event ran smoothly. The hotel’s prime location overlooking Darling Harbour and close to Sydney’s key attractions was highly appreciated by our international delegates.

We hosted a conference in May 2026 at the Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour. It was an outstanding success due to the professional event teams and careful planning.

The conference room was adaptable to changing requirements on group sizes with a breakout room created. The room was clean and maintained for each session. We used a boardroom as an office which was also well stocked with notepads, pens, mints and chilled water.

The audio-visual staff were efficient and professional, and anticipated our needs to ensure a smooth running of meetings.

The catering exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious. There was a large variety of plentiful fresh food. All the dietary requirements were well catered for with delicious options and clear signage. The food was thoughtfully planned and delivered. A barista coffee was available throughout the day.

The Ternary Restaurant space provided a contemporary spacious area for our delegates to enjoy the breakfast, lunch and dinners. Snacks were available throughout the day along with morning and afternoon tea.

Working with the various event teams was a pleasure. They listened and catered for our participants every need. The staff were flexible and nothing was to much trouble.

The feedback from our delegates was overwhelmingly positive. Many remarked this was the best conference they had attended and with some people adding they had been to many. We are grateful to the event staff at the Novotel Sydney for a smooth and flawless conference.

From the initial quote to the final day of our event, the entire process was exceptionally well-organized and handled with care by the Novotel staff. Every request and adjustment was actioned seamlessly and without issue, and both room allocations and conference space management ran perfectly.

We were thoroughly impressed by the high standard of service across the entire team. The hotel is in excellent condition, and the well-maintained conference facilities met our exact requirements. The catering—morning tea, afternoon tea, and lunch—was abundant and of outstanding quality. We also enjoyed dinner at The Ternary, where the food and service were equally fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
